James D. Cashel

I am a lifelong resident of New Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania with strong ties to both regions. I graduated with my law degree (cum laude) from the Temple University School of Law and I also have an earlier bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering (cum laude) from Drexel University.

I am a member of the State Bars of both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and am a registered patent attorney.

For the first fifteen years of my legal career, I was in private practice at two large general practice law firms, having served as partner at one for the last several years. For the last ten years, I have served as in-house General Counsel for two publicly traded manufacturing companies in the aerospace and defense sector.

I believe that the diversity, depth and breadth of my experience sets me apart from others. I have served as a law firm partner in private practice and as in-house counsel for two public companies conducting business worldwide. I am confident that this positions me to provide quality legal services to your company or non-profit. I also believe that my experience representing small and mid-size business has honed my ability to assist you in executing your business objectives while minimizing legal risks. I strive to partner with you and to assist you with respect to how to achieve your objectives.
